Telephony custom sounds

Comms Mundi™ uses a central library where you can organize all your audio files.

Upload a new audio file

To add upload a new audio file go to the page Telephony → Sounds:

  1. In the sound files table (where the files are listed), click Add
  2. Set the directory where to store the file, /
  3. Set the file Name, my_audio_file.mp3
  4. In Content, choose upload and then set the file to be upload
  5. Click Add

Record a new audio file

You can record a custom message directly from an available extension/device register at the server. To record a custom message go to the Telephony → Sounds:

  1. In the sound files table (where the files are listed), click Add
  2. Set the directory where to store the file, /
  3. Set the file Name, my_audio_record_file.mp3
  4. In Content, choose:
    • Record
    • Destination, set the destination extension to dial at the desire context, 300@outgoing
  5. Click Add
  6. Wait for the call at that extension and follow the instrutions
